Bangle Size Guide

Bracelets and bangles have been worn for centuries to adorn people and bring attention to their wrists and hands. The difference is that bangles are rigid and bracelets are flexible, made of an ornamental band, loop or chain.

It was thought that the Egyptians invented the bracelet, crafted from stone, bone and wood but the history of wristwear goes back further.

Bangles and bracelets have been found in many civilisations including ancient Mayan, Roman, Indian and Mauryan ruins and have been worn by many cultural groups for different reasons.

Bringing this ancient art into the modern day and age is something we do thoughtfully, by slowly crafting and glazing each piece by hand. Each piece is so rich in colour and deliciously shiny, with pops of 22k gold around the edges.

The first step in choosing your next forever statement piece is knowing your perfect bangle size.

Knowing your perfect bangle size will have you choosing with confidence and ensure you get the best fit. All you need to know is the circumference of the widest part of your hand.

How to measure:

  1. Bring your thumb and little finger together.
  2. Using a piece of string or a soft tape measure, wrap it around your hand at the widest point (normally around the knuckles and base of your thumb).
  3. Ensure you mark the spot where the piece of string meets and use a ruler to determine the length. Or, if using a tape measure simply make a note of the measurement.
  4. This measurement will be the circumference of the bangle that fits you best!
  5. The final step is to check the bangle size guide below and find your perfect fit! And if you have any questions about sizing whatsoever, contact us here!
