Oh Yohanna porcelain jewellery is meant to be worn everyday and created to last, all products have been tested to ensure customers receive a quality long-lasting product. To ensure you get the wear and longevity out of your item as intended, we would like to share some important information about caring for your jewellery.
- Keep your jewellery away from moisture.
- Remove when sleeping.
- Remove when active.
- Store in a closed bag or box.
- Remove before entering water.
- Allow perfumes and lotions to dry before wearing. We recommend always putting on your beautiful jewellery pieces as a final touch, after applying make-up and styling hair.
We have carefully selected the highest quality jewellery findings. All of our earrings posts, ear wires, hoops and stud backs are hypoallergenic, surgical stainless steel, so the likelihood of irritation to the ear is extremely minimal. Surgical stainless steel is a premium, durable material recommended for those with sensitive skin, however, it can still cause irritations for some people. Our charms are delicate, yet durable, cubic zirconia and gold plated. Our necklace chains are simply stunning, anti tarnish, 16k gold plated, diamond cut for extra shine and nickel and lead free.
The back of the jewellery pieces have been sanded to feel smooth against your skin, but remain unglazed to reveal the natural characteristic of porcelain. They can pick up micro dirt and makeup, so every once in a while to keep your jewellery pieces looking flawless, you can clean the back of your porcelain earrings carefully with some warm soapy water. And also clean the earring posts, jump rings and connectors with a polishing cloth.
*Important - please note* If you have purchased our jewellery with gold lustre glaze (gold, silver or mother of pearl lustre etc.), please do not scrub them to avoid damaging the beautiful lustre.
Because all pieces are handcrafted individually and undergo multiple firings, this may lead to slight shape and colour variations.
