Our Isadoras are utterly elegant, deliciously delicate, and simply stunning in every way. Pressed in an art deco inspired fan detail, these earrings have been rolled out quite thinly, and are almost transparent when you hold them up to the light. This is one of the beautiful features of porcelain!

Part of our Bridal collection, our Isadoras are hand-painted with a stunning 22k gold or mother of pearl lustre.

Finished with quality surgical stainless steel ear wires, they're great for those with sensitive lobes.

Our Process:

Each piece is handmade and goes through an extensive process from initial concept and design, to conditioning the clay, rolling out a clay slab, then individually cutting and hand-sculpting each piece from the finest porcelain clay. All created in small batches from my home studio in Bellbowrie, Queensland, then carefully placed into a kiln ready for their first 'bisque' firing.

Once they come out of the kiln, each piece is closely inspected, painstakingly hand-sanded, and painted by hand with glaze. This is where each piece will undertake a second firing, reaching over 1230°C (2246°F). And where pieces have been accentuated and painted with gold lustre or mother of pearl lustre, they will go into the kiln for their third and final firing. Once this stage is completed, all earrings and jewellery are assembled with the utmost care.

Because all pieces are handcrafted individually and undergo multiple firings, this may lead to slight shape and colour variations.
